x402 payment workflows beyond always-on internet
Some agents and devices operate where an internet connection is intermittent or unavailable. x402Facilitator.si includes local queue and transport concepts for carrying payment messages across customer-run Bluetooth LE, LoRa, RF or later network handoffs without pretending that an on-chain settlement can finalize where no settlement network is reachable.
Store-and-forward instead of fake offline finality
A local runtime can preserve a signed payment message, its identity and its state until a permitted path becomes available. Final settlement still follows the configured settlement network and policy.
Multiple transport choices
Customer-run bridges can move bounded payment envelopes over local or radio links. Transport is separate from wallet authority, settlement policy and physical device control.
Designed for machines at the edge
Robots, sensors, field systems and other autonomous devices can keep commercial payment state distinct from navigation, actuators, firmware and emergency-stop systems.
